Iranian Media: Iran Decides to Allow Some Iraqi Oil Tankers Through the Strait of Hormuz

Odaily News: During Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed al-Halbousi's visit to Iran, one of the most important requests Iraq made to Tehran was to grant special permits for Iraqi-owned oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. This request had previously been submitted to Iran multiple times through various channels. Despite Iran facing severe military operations and the security situation in the Strait of Hormuz deteriorating significantly due to hostile U.S. actions, Iran ultimately decided to issue permits for some Iraqi oil tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
