Grayscale:拟议SEC规则或利好ETH、SOL和BNB
Odaily Planet Daily News Grayscale’s Head of Research, Zach Pandl, said in an analysis on August 19 that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) proposed Regulation Crypto Assets rule could increase on-chain token issuance, making ETH, SOL, and BNB potential beneficiary assets.
The SEC proposal sets out two categories of issuance exemptions: eligible issuers could raise up to $5 million within 4 years, or up to $75 million within any 12-month period; the latter would carry higher disclosure and reporting obligations.
The proposal also includes a conditional safe harbor, where eligible crypto assets may no longer be considered investment contracts. Grayscale believes that if issuance activity increases, more U.S. issuers and investors will come on-chain, and value could flow back to the relevant blockchains and their native tokens.
