The sources said the offering could also value the company at $2 trillion. If successful, Anthropic—founded just five years ago—would set a record for the largest public offering in history, surpassing the record set by Musk's SpaceX in June of this year, which went public with a valuation of $1.77 trillion and raised $85.7 billion.
