Morgan Stanley: AI's Impact on Employment Substitution Remains Limited but Increasingly Evident

Odaily News, Morgan Stanley economists said in a report that the proportion of job displacement caused by AI in the United States remains relatively small, but the trend is becoming increasingly apparent. As of June 2026, the impact of AI displacement on the U.S. unemployment rate will be at most about 15 basis points, up from 10 basis points in December 2025.
