宇树科技宣布推动“物理AI机器人自进化”

Odaily Planet Daily News: Wang Xingxing, founder and chairman of Unitree Technology, announced at the main forum of the 2026 World Robot Conference that Unitree Technology is advancing "physical AI robot self-evolution." Driven by AI large models, the system automatically searches for research papers, writes control code, validates in simulation environments, and deploys real-machine testing. AI and humans then jointly score and provide feedback, forming a closed-loop iteration. Once operational, this system can significantly improve development efficiency and iteration speed.

Wang Xingxing noted that over the next decade, amid the AI explosion, the pace of robot evolution has far exceeded expectations, marking "a brand-new starting point." The critical tipping point for the industry will arrive when users can bring robots into any unfamiliar environment and complete around 80% of daily tasks simply through voice or text commands—a milestone that could come as soon as 2-3 years or as late as 5-10 years.
