U.S. stock market may be on track for the second-best decade in history, with the S&P 500 up 141% since the end of 2019

Odaily News The Kobeissi Letter posted on X platform, stating that the U.S. stock market is experiencing one of the best decades in history. The S&P 500 index has risen 141% since the end of 2019. If this pace continues, the index will end the decade with a cumulative gain of approximately 277%, making it the second-best decade on record, trailing only the 316% gain during the internet bubble from 1989 to 1999, while surpassing the 257% gain during the post-war boom from 1949 to 1959.

By comparison, between 2010 and 2020, the S&P 500 index delivered a return of 190% following the 2008 financial crisis. The 2020s are becoming one of the greatest decades in the history of the U.S. stock market.
