Testnet participants will receive approximately 20% of the token supply, Arthur Hayes says Flop Labs will build a decentralized computing power network
Odaily News: Arthur Hayes published an article titled "The Book of Genesis" on the X platform, using mythological narratives to explain the core philosophy and token economic design of the AI and crypto project Flop Labs. The article states that testnet participants will receive approximately 20% of the token supply. Hayes noted that the current AI market lacks a unified standard for computing power pricing, with different models having varying definitions and pricing for "tokens." He proposed building a decentralized computing power network called Flop Network, with FLOP as the native token, representing a direct claim on computing power (FLOPs), enabling AI agents and humans to transact at a globally unified unit price for computing power. The FLOP token adopts a fair launch model, with the team self-funding and no pre-sale.
