Korean QFIIs Have Purchased ChangXin Technology
According to data from SEIBro, operated by the Korea Securities Depository (KSD), as of August 18, the A-share stock with the highest purchase amount by Korean investors over the past month is a mysterious stock. During this period, Korean investors made net purchases of this stock totaling $45.3223 million (approximately RMB 307.53 million). Extending the timeframe to the past three months, this stock still ranks first among A-shares in terms of net purchases by Korean investors. When Korean securities firms trade this security as Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII), they must submit settlement instructions to KSD, which require the use of ISIN codes.
As a result, the relevant Korean securities firms have temporarily opted to use provisional virtual codes, and the name of the security is displayed based on the virtual ISIN. A search of SEIBro reveals that, as of July 28, ChangXin Technology had already appeared among the stocks with the highest net purchase amounts by Korean investors in the previous week. As of July 27, ChangXin Technology had not yet appeared on the list of the top 50 A-shares by net purchase amount among Korean investors in the prior week (it is also possible that Korean investors had already purchased it, but ChangXin Technology had not entered the top 50 A-share rankings by net purchase amount). This indicates that no later than July 28, the day after ChangXin Technology's listing, Korean investors had already begun buying the stock. (China Fund News)
