无需投入真实资金,SafeBets推出虚拟代币预测市场

2026-08-19 07:58
Odaily News: SafeBets is launching a prediction model that requires no real capital investment. J. Tennyson Singer, Executive Director of SafeBets, stated that users will not use credit cards or invest real money; instead, they will participate in predictions using 100 virtual tokens provided by the platform. Each prediction consumes 1 token, and users who predict correctly will be rewarded with Unicoin tokens, while incorrect predictions only result in the loss of virtual tokens.

SafeBets stated that its core commercial value lies not in user betting, but in collecting data from high-accuracy predictors to form collective intelligence signals, with plans to provide trading references to affiliated brokerages in the future. The platform is advised by blockchain pioneers Scott Stornetta and Stuart Haber.

SafeBets claims that, unlike traditional prediction markets that require users to wager funds, its model falls under market research and therefore does not face similar regulatory risks. Currently, Polymarket and Kalshi are facing regulatory pressure in multiple regions across the U.S. and overseas, including enforcement actions in several U.S. states targeting the nature of prediction markets, as well as restrictions on related services in some European countries.

According to a filing submitted by Unicoin to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), SafeBets is wholly owned by Unicoin CEO Alex Konanykhin, and the Unicoin tokens rewarded to users by the platform are directly associated with the company. Previously, the U.S. SEC sued Unicoin and related executives, alleging misleading investors and registration statement issues during the token sale. Unicoin has denied the allegations and stated it will actively defend itself. SafeBets stated that it hopes to carve out a new development path under tightening prediction market regulation through its risk-free prediction and data monetization model.
