Anthropic gains banking sector interest, credit line may exceed $10 billion ahead of IPO
Odaily News, according to sources familiar with the matter, Anthropic's revolving credit facility is expected to exceed the target of approximately $10 billion. As the AI company prepares for its highly anticipated IPO, related financing arrangements are being expanded. Sources say that Anthropic, the developer of Claude, plans to expand its so-called "revolving credit facility", which has attracted attention from numerous banks hoping to enhance their roles in the IPO. Some of the sources revealed that Anthropic has asked the banks leading the credit facility and most actively participating to provide loan commitments of approximately $1.25 billion; for the next tier of active banks, the company encourages commitments of around $1 billion; while for banks with lower participation levels, their commitments gradually decrease to about $750 million or even less.
