Odaily News According to Bank of America's August global fund manager survey, investor confidence in U.S. stocks outperforming other regions strengthened this month. 27% of surveyed fund managers said they hold a higher allocation to U.S. equities than the weight of U.S. stocks in global benchmark indices, indicating expectations of stronger performance in U.S. stocks. This August figure is the highest since December 2024, up 3 percentage points from July's 24%.

So far this year, U.S. stock indices have generally outperformed other markets. The S&P 500 has risen 13% year-to-date, while the Euro Stoxx 600 has gained 10%. However, U.S. stocks have lagged behind Japanese and South Korean markets. (Jin Shi)
