Dash0 acquires Berlin-based startup Polar Signals, aiming to enable AI agents to continuously optimize software

Odaily News, Dash0, a software observability company headquartered in New York, announced the acquisition of Berlin-based startup Polar Signals. Polar Signals focuses on continuous profiling technology, which helps developers identify the specific locations where code consumes computing resources and memory, and where it causes applications to slow down or costs to rise.

Dash0 plans to integrate the technology into its platform and provide analytics data to AI agents through Agent0. Its new feature, AutoTune, continuously identifies inefficient code and, after discovering opportunities to reduce CPU or memory usage, automatically generates improvement suggestions and prepares code merge requests.

Dash0 will also acquire Polar Signals' engineering team and its storage engine, Great Lakes, and plans to use it as the foundation for SignalStore, replacing ClickHouse. Dash0 currently has over 750 customers and recently completed a $110 million Series B funding round, reaching a valuation of $1 billion. (Business Insider)
