“AI 教父”Hinton认同马斯克:AI或导致大规模失业,未来10年就业格局难预测

2026-08-16 13:44

Odaily Planet Daily News — Computer scientist Geoffrey Hinton, known as the "Godfather of AI," stated that artificial intelligence could lead to mass unemployment, and tech giants are betting on AI replacing a large number of human jobs. Predictions previously made by tech leaders including Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, Elon Musk, and Bill Gates about AI transforming the job market are not unrealistic. He believes that the economic transformation driven by AI could cause widespread disruption, leaving many workers facing employment pressure.

Hinton believes that AI will indeed create new job opportunities, but the number of new positions may not be enough to offset the jobs that are replaced. He has previously warned that the tech industry is overly focused on short-term commercial interests, pushing companies to replace human labor with cheaper AI systems. However, Hinton also emphasized that predicting the long-term impact of AI is extremely difficult. "Predicting the future is like driving in fog — you can see the next year or two clearly, but what will happen 10 years from now, we have no idea." Despite the risks, Hinton said that workers who can adapt to AI and leverage it to enhance their own abilities will be better positioned to navigate future changes in the employment landscape.
