Odaily Planet Daily News: Africa Finance Corporation has issued a 350 million Swiss franc digital bond, approximately US$431 million, through SIX's SDX platform. This marks the first time an African institution has issued a digital bond through a central securities depository (CSD) and exchange. The bond has a 5-year term and a coupon rate of 1.4925%, making it one of the larger digital bonds on the platform. UBS issued a 375 million Swiss franc bond in 2022. The transaction was led by Commerzbank AG as technical lead, with Deutsche Bank serving as co-arranger.
