Odaily News – U.S. President Trump claimed on the 14th that after "defeating Iran," he would soon "declare the Strait of Hormuz as U.S. territory." In response to Trump's remarks, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi stated, "The Strait of Hormuz is not something that can be controlled by a post, an aircraft carrier, an executive order, or a campaign speech. Iran is neither afraid of threats nor intimidated by military force." Additionally, the Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, Ali Azmai, said on the 14th that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and is under the complete control of the Iranian military. "The reality should be seen on the ground, not in the statements of U.S. officials." (Jin Shi)
