Singapore Exchange considers launching single-stock and leveraged ETFs, while strengthening cross-market collaboration

Odaily News, Singapore Exchange (SGX) CEO Loh Boon Chye said in a recent interview that SGX is considering expanding its ETF product range and may explore launching single-stock ETFs and leveraged ETF products if market demand exists. Currently, SGX lists 53 ETFs with total assets under management exceeding S$21 billion (approximately US$16.4 billion).
In addition, SGX plans to strengthen collaboration with other markets. It has already partnered with Nasdaq to simplify the qualification and process for companies seeking dual listings in both Singapore and the United States simultaneously, and has also initiated depositary receipt cooperation with the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
