CRWV's Q2 EBITDA increased 101% year-over-year, with shares up nearly 15% in after-hours trading

CRWV reported second-quarter revenue of $2.58 billion, compared with the market expectation of $2.56 billion; operating income of $128 million, with an operating margin of 5%; EBITDA of $1.51 billion, up 101% year-over-year, with a margin of 59%; a net loss of $626 million, or a diluted loss of $1.14 per share; and a loss per share of $1.20, in line with the market expectation of a $1.20 loss. Revenue backlog stood at approximately $104 billion, up from $99 billion previously, representing an increase of more than 25% since the last quarterly report. The backlog excludes more than $25 billion in net new customer commitments added at the start of the third quarter.
According to MSX.COM data, CoreWeave shares rose nearly 15% in after-hours trading.
