U.S. Energy Information Administration Raises Price Forecasts for WTI and Brent for This Year and Next

Odaily News: According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration's (EIA) Short-Term Energy Outlook report, the WTI crude oil price is expected to average $80.88 per barrel in 2026, up from the previous forecast of $76.26 per barrel. The 2027 WTI crude oil price is projected at $65.39 per barrel, compared to the prior estimate of $60.76 per barrel. Brent prices are forecast at $86.81 per barrel for 2026, versus the previous estimate of $81.91 per barrel. For 2027, Brent is expected to average $69.39 per barrel, up from the earlier forecast of $64.76 per barrel. (Jin 10)
