Iran's Supreme National Security Council: The Strait Will Not Open Unless the US Accepts Iran's Conditions

Odaily News: Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, issued a statement: "The US is the creator of insecurity in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman, endangering the entire region by imposing an illegal war on Iran. The Strait of Hormuz will not reopen unless the US changes its behavior and accepts Iran's conditions. The US must end the war, release frozen Iranian funds, bring an end to conflicts across the entire region, including Lebanon and Gaza, and also meet other conditions conveyed to the US side through intermediaries. If Iran and Oman reach an agreement on transit passage through the Strait of Hormuz, that agreement will be handled separately from the issue of closing the Strait." (Jin Shi)
