SharpLink Holds $1.46 Billion in Ethereum, Posts $394 Million Q2 Loss

Odaily News: SharpLink, the company holding the second-largest Ethereum treasury, reported a net loss of $394 million in Q2 2026, compared to a $103 million loss in the same period last year. The loss includes $321 million in unrealized crypto asset losses and a $76 million impairment on staked ETH.
SharpLink reported Q2 revenue of $11.5 million, of which $11.1 million came from ETH staking income. Cash and cash equivalents stood at $56 million, up from $28 million in December 2025.
SharpLink currently holds approximately 863,000 ETH, worth a total of $1.46 billion, ranking second. The company also holds 632,784 ETH and 181,321 ETH through various liquid staking ETH tokens, valued at $1.2 billion and $343 million, respectively.
After an eight-month pause in purchases, SharpLink resumed buying ETH in late June, first acquiring ETH for $7.8 million, then purchasing 10,000 ETH for approximately $16 million a few days later. The company's stock fell 3.9% on Monday, and is down 30% year-to-date. (Cointelegraph)
