Odaily News: eToro released its Q2 2026 earnings report, showing a notable slowdown in digital asset trading activity, while the company continues to advance its on-chain financial infrastructure development.

In terms of trading data, eToro's crypto asset trading volume in July was 1.4 million transactions, down 73% year-over-year; the average investment amount per crypto transaction was $182, down 50% year-over-year. Q2 crypto-related revenue was $1.346 billion, down from $1.915 billion in the same period in 2025. Despite the decline in crypto business revenue, the company's overall net profit still grew 77% year-over-year to $53.48 million.

On the crypto strategy front, eToro completed the acquisitions of digital asset self-custody platform Zengo and Israeli crypto trading platform Bit2C during Q2, aiming to strengthen its self-custody service capabilities and promote the integration of traditional finance with the on-chain economy. Additionally, the company made a strategic investment in on-chain perpetual contract platform Extended and became a founding partner of the Open USD stablecoin ecosystem alliance, further intensifying its focus on on-chain trading and stablecoin infrastructure.

On the balance sheet side, as of the end of Q2, eToro held $49.95 million in crypto assets, down from $62.61 million at the end of 2025. (Globenewswire)
