Odaily News: Social media and financial services company Trump Media has announced it will adjust its digital asset treasury strategy, allocating more resources to Truth Social, Truth+, and other media operations while maintaining long-term digital asset exposure and managing market volatility.
Trump Media reported a net loss of $238 million in the second quarter, including $190.4 million in unrealized losses from digital assets, staked digital assets, and equity securities. The company disclosed that as of June 30, it held 9,477.16 Bitcoin, with an additional 2,077.34 held as collateral for options strategies.
In July, the company sold Bitcoin-related securities worth $159.6 million and purchased Bitcoin; as of July 31, including staked Bitcoin, it held approximately 14,139 coins, valued at around $890.5 million. The company also warned that income arrangements such as lending and allocation carry counterparty credit risk and the risk of assets being unrecoverable. (Cointelegraph)
