Odaily News: Bitcoin fell below $64,000 on August 10, after briefly touching an intraday high of $65,416. The price pullback brought Bitcoin's market cap down from $1.3 trillion to $1.28 trillion in under 4 hours, with long-position liquidation volumes across the network exceeding $47 million and short-position liquidation volumes exceeding $12 million over the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin treasury company Strategy sold 1,690 BTC between August 3 and 9 at an average price of $64,262, raising $108.6 million, and repurchased 1,152,020 shares of STRC preferred stock. Following the transaction, Strategy holds 840,447 BTC at an average purchase price of $75,385.

Strategy CEO Phong Le stated that the company's dollar reserves and duration have both reached all-time highs, increasing by nearly $3.8 billion over the past 2.5 months, with both metrics growing more than fivefold. Peter Schiff, meanwhile, questioned the rationale behind Strategy's repurchase of STRC preferred stock and its holding of common shares. (Bitcoin.com News)
