Federal Reserve Chair Warsh Completes Divestiture of All Financial Assets, Ethics Compliance Certification Officially Signed
Odaily News: Federal Reserve Chair Warsh has sold all financial assets he had pledged to divest. Warsh signed an ethics agreement compliance certification from the Office of Government Ethics last Thursday, and the document was made public on the agency's website on Saturday. Warsh previously submitted a divestiture certificate to the ethics office showing he had sold most of the assets he pledged to divest. The latest disclosure document shows he has sold the remaining holdings covered by the agreement.
Warsh is one of the wealthiest officials in the history of the Federal Reserve. He had pledged to divest holdings in multiple investments, the underlying assets of which were not disclosed due to confidentiality agreements—some of which were valued at least $100 million. (Jin Shi)
