Odaily Planet Daily News According to MSX.COM data, American Bitcoin (ABTC), a bitcoin mining company associated with the Trump family, saw its stock price surge over 13%, last trading at $7.38, bringing the company's market capitalization to approximately $533 million.

After ABTC released its quarterly earnings report, company director and Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen bought ABTC shares on two consecutive days, investing a total of approximately $1.93 million—a move viewed by the market as a show of confidence in the company's prospects. Regulatory filings show that Mateen purchased approximately 145,000 Class A common shares of ABTC on August 5, with a transaction value of about $925,000 and an average purchase price of roughly $6.40 per share. On August 6, he bought another approximately 162,000 shares, with a transaction value of about $1 million and an average price of approximately $6.19 per share. Combined, the two transactions brought Mateen's total ABTC holdings to 306,981 shares, increasing his stake to 492,297 shares.

American Bitcoin, backed by the Trump family, is a publicly listed company focused on bitcoin mining operations. The company has previously sought to become a key player in the wave of U.S. domestic bitcoin mining expansion through integration with crypto mining enterprises and the expansion of its computing power footprint. The open-market purchases by the company's directors and executives following the earnings release have further boosted market attention.
