BIP-110's largest miner Roughnecks resumes mining, chain block production has been stalled for 37 hours

Odaily Planet Daily reported that according to Bitcoin News monitoring, Roughnecks, the largest miner on BIP-110, has stated it will resume mining on the BIP-110 chain. Roughnecks had previously announced a suspension of operations on Saturday. It has been 37 hours since the last block was mined on the BIP-110 chain, and the signaled hashrate supporting BIP-110 has dropped from over 15 EH/s to 1.16 EH/s. The BIP-110 chain now lags approximately 250 blocks behind the original Bitcoin chain, making continued mining extremely costly with limited economic incentives. Roughnecks stated that it plans to continue mining until BIP-110 is able to implement the proof-of-work change. This change would permanently separate BIP-110 from Bitcoin's existing proof-of-work network, effectively creating a new coin.
