SemiAnalysis: SpaceX's computing power may exceed 10GW by 2027, with annual revenue reaching $300 billion
Odaily News, SemiAnalysis report points out that SpaceX's goal of adding more than 10GW of computing power by the end of 2027 is feasible. Musk stated that SpaceX's conservative target is to deliver 6 to 8GW of incremental computing power in 2027, with upside potential exceeding 10GW. Based on a capital expenditure of approximately $50 billion per GW, capital expenditures in 2027 could reach $300 billion to $500 billion.
SemiAnalysis's model shows that when OpenAI and Anthropic provide API inference services on GB300 clusters, each GW can generate over $100 billion in revenue annually; based on a rental price of $3 per GPU per hour, the annual cost per GW is approximately $12 billion. SemiAnalysis estimates that the $250 billion infrastructure agreement signed between Microsoft and OpenAI in October 2025 corresponds to approximately 7GW of computing power, and it is feasible for Microsoft to sign a computing power contract with SpaceX worth approximately $150 billion for about 3GW. SemiAnalysis expects that SpaceX's annual recurring revenue could reach $300 billion by the end of 2027.
