长鑫存储今年产能达到上限,HP与Acer寻求锁定明年更多芯片供应
Odaily Planet Daily News Citrini analyst jukan posted on X platform that, according to the Wall Street Journal, ChangXin Memory Technologies (CXMT) has reached its production capacity limit this year, leaving almost no room to accommodate new international clients. HP and Acer have obtained limited quantities of memory chips from CXMT and are seeking to secure more supply for next year. Many of CXMT's products are priced on par with comparable offerings from Micron, SK Hynix, and Samsung Electronics, with some products priced even higher. U.S. federal regulations prevent Apple from ordering custom chips from CXMT, leaving it to use off-the-shelf components. Using CXMT's standard memory chips could force Apple to redesign some of its products.
