Odaily News: Regarding the unexpected negative turn in U.S. nonfarm payroll data on Friday, Rick Rieder, Chief Investment Officer of BlackRock's Global Fixed Income division, stated that the surprisingly weak employment data from last month reflects exactly the "productivity revolution" of the AI era. He believes the decline in nonfarm payroll figures shows that American companies are learning how to scale output without increasing headcount. He noted, "I don't think adjusting the overnight federal funds rate really solves the problem—we've seen this before... I just think there's not much point in raising rates right now." (CLS)
