Deputy Iranian Foreign Minister: Security in the Persian Gulf region should be jointly safeguarded by regional countries
Odaily News: Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi issued a statement stating that the security of the Persian Gulf region should be jointly safeguarded by regional countries, and Iran advocates resolving regional security issues without the interference of external forces. Gharibabadi pointed out that Iran has submitted and recorded evidence to the UN Security Council regarding certain attacks launched from the territories of other countries against Iran, including a few direct attacks. He also stated that based on the information currently available, regional countries have become deeply aware that the expansion of conflicts and the continuation of military operations will pose a serious threat to their own security. At present, the conditions for restarting security dialogue among Persian Gulf countries are ripe. (CCTV News)
