Australia-based AI infrastructure company Firmus completes $2 billion funding round, with NVIDIA, Blackstone, and others participating

Odaily News, Australia-based artificial intelligence infrastructure company Firmus has announced the completion of a $2 billion strategic equity funding round, with investors including NVIDIA, Coatue, as well as funds managed by Blackstone and other Blackstone investment vehicles. Global trading and technology firm Jane Street also participated in the investment. Firmus stated that this round of funding will be used to accelerate the deployment of its "Southgate AI Factory" project in Australia and to prepare for future expansion into other Asia-Pacific markets.
