Tether's gold reserves rise to 146 tons, becoming the largest known private gold holder globally

Odaily News Stablecoin issuer Tether purchased an additional 14 tons of gold in the second quarter of 2026, bringing its gold holdings to a record 146 tons, currently valued at approximately $18.8 billion.
