Odaily News: Optical networking startup Lumilens has announced the completion of a Series C funding round exceeding $700 million, bringing the company's latest valuation to $5.51 billion. The round was co-led by Atreides Management, Bain Capital Ventures, Meritech, and other institutions, with cumulative total funding surpassing $900 million.

Lumilens primarily provides optical communications and networking products designed to enhance data transmission speeds and reduce energy consumption in AI data centers. The company stated that it has begun shipping products to an undisclosed hyperscale cloud computing enterprise under a multi-billion-dollar customer agreement. (Reuters)
