彭博分析师:Coldcard黑客事件后IBIT等五大比特币ETF累计流入6.2亿美元
Odaily News – Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated on the X platform that following the Coldcard wallet security incident over the weekend, multiple Bitcoin ETFs—including the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC), Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB), ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB), and ProShares Bitcoin ETF (BITO)—have recorded consecutive days of capital inflows, with cumulative net inflows of approximately $620 million.
Analysts noted that it is currently unclear whether there is a direct link between the Coldcard incident and ETF inflows, but over the long term, some users may shift toward Bitcoin investment products managed by major financial institutions due to concerns over the security of self-custody.
This capital inflow is also seen as a validation of traditional finance (TradFi) Bitcoin products in terms of security and custodial capabilities. Market observers pointed out that for some investors, choosing ETFs backed by mature risk-control systems and institutional custody may be more appealing than relying on small wallet vendors to safeguard their assets.
This view suggests that as the Bitcoin market gradually becomes more institutionalized, secure custody, asset recovery mechanisms, and regulatory compliance are becoming key factors for investors when selecting investment channels. The competitive advantages of traditional financial institutions in the digital asset space are becoming increasingly evident.
