The market rules state: settlement is based on the film that ultimately wins Best Picture at the 99th Academy Awards. In the event of a tie, the market will settle on the film that appears first alphabetically on the nomination list. If no winner is announced by 11:59 PM ET on June 30, 2027, the market will settle as "Other."

Nominations for the 99th Academy Awards will be announced on January 21, 2027, with the ceremony scheduled for March 14, 2027.
