摩根大通:仅凭通胀不足以终结美股长期上涨势头,标普500指数未来12个月内将上涨约10%
Odaily Planet Daily News A top strategist at JPMorgan said that despite the "inflation roller coaster" the U.S. is experiencing, it will not prevent the stock market from surging to record highs — the S&P 500 index is still expected to rise about 10% over the next 12 months. Kriti Gupta, executive director and global investment strategist at JPMorgan Private Bank, projects that the benchmark index will reach around 8,200 points by the middle of next year.
JPMorgan believes that inflation alone is not enough to end the market's long-term upward momentum. Gupta stated that the main foundations supporting the bull market remain solid: one key reason is strong economic growth. The U.S. economy continues to expand, instilling confidence in businesses and investors even as inflation remains a concern. Another major driver is the enormous demand for artificial intelligence. Gupta expects U.S. equities to continue delivering double-digit returns this year. (Cailianshe)
