Open Interest Reaches $5.25 Billion: Hyperliquid Surpasses Five Major Exchanges

In chronological order, Hyperliquid surpassed Bybit on July 29, 2026, when Bybit's open interest stood at $5.07 billion; surpassed HTX on May 21, 2026, when HTX's open interest was $3.67 billion; and surpassed Bitfinex, Kraken, and Coinbase on November 19, 2025, when their open interest figures were $1.21 billion, $304 million, and $235 million, respectively. The next target is OKX's $6.37 billion, with a gap of $1.13 billion.
