韩国芯片股回吐周五暴涨涨幅,或因获利了结与杠杆资金退出承压
Odaily News: South Korea's stock market fell sharply on Monday, as major chip stocks experienced profit-taking after last Friday's record surge, with investors also reducing leveraged trading. Analysts say the pullback is mainly driven by profit-taking following the sharp gains and the exit of leveraged funds. In addition, a stronger Korean won and news related to China's AI and semiconductor technology progress have also added pressure to the market.
Data shows that last Friday, South Korea's stock market posted its largest single-day gain, with the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rising 18%, and heavy foreign buying was believed to be linked to short covering. On Monday morning, however, global investors turned to selling, with foreign net selling in South Korea's stock market exceeding 1 trillion Korean won (approximately $698 million). (Bloomberg)
