Bitcoin daily active addresses rise to nearly 1 million after Coldcard hack, hitting an 8-month high

According to Odaily, monitoring by Julio Moreno shows that following the Coldcard hack, Bitcoin's daily active addresses increased from 645,000 on July 30 to nearly 1 million on July 31, reaching the highest single-day level since December 10, 2024. The growth was primarily driven by an increase in active sending addresses, while the rise in active receiving addresses was relatively smaller.
