Tom Lee: AI Downstream Assets Continue to Strengthen, Ethereum Outperforms DRAM by 72 Percentage Points in the Past Month
Odaily reports that Bitmine Chairman and Fundstrat Co-Founder Tom Lee stated that the relative performance of "AI downstream" assets is continuously strengthening, with Ethereum (ETH) showing significant excess returns compared to the DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) sector recently.
Data disclosed by Tom Lee shows that over the past month, ETH's performance advantage over DRAM has expanded to 7,200 basis points (72 percentage points). During the same period, the price of ETH rose by approximately 24%, while DRAM-related ETFs fell by about 38%.
Tom Lee believes that as AI infrastructure investment gradually shifts from chips and computing power supply chains to application layers and digital infrastructure, some "AI downstream" assets are undergoing market repricing.
As a market participant who has long been bullish on the Ethereum ecosystem, Tom Lee has repeatedly emphasized that with the development of stablecoins, tokenized assets, and on-chain financial applications, Ethereum could become an important component of the digital economy infrastructure in the AI era. This data comparison indicates that the performance divergence between crypto assets and traditional AI hardware supply chains is widening.
