Floating profit nearly $160,000; a whale re-enters long position on Intel before earnings report

Odaily Odaily reports, according to Hyperinsight monitoring, the "US Stock Trading King" reopened a long position for INTC on the evening of July 17 (last Friday) Beijing time. He bought 25,000 shares in batches within approximately half an hour and is currently holding a leveraged position of 10x, with an average entry price of $94.57.

As of press time, INTC is up 5.95% for the day, currently trading at $100.96. The whale's position is valued at approximately $2.524 million, with a floating profit of around $159,700, achieving a return rate of 67.56%. The liquidation price is $89.69.

During the previous market downturn, the "US Stock Trading King" scaled down his large positions to focus on Micron Technology (MU). On the evening of July 8, he closed his previous long position of 23,000 INTC shares at an average price of $105.31, realizing a profit of approximately $920,300. After a 9-day hiatus, his current position is 2,000 shares larger than the previous round.

Currently, the whale continues to hold a long position in MU valued at approximately $3.3782 million, with an average entry price of $505.30 and a floating profit of about $1.4833 million. Additionally, he has taken smaller trial long positions in two storage stocks: 250 shares of SanDisk (SNDK), valued at around $367,500 at an average price of $1,438.72, with a floating profit of approximately $7,821; and 240 shares of SK Hynix (SKHX), valued at about $300,600 at an average price of $1,412.39, with a floating loss of around $38,400.

Intel is scheduled to release its second-quarter 2026 earnings report after the market closes on July 23 (early morning of July 24 Beijing time). The company previously guided quarterly revenue between $13.8 billion and $14.8 billion, with non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.20.
