SolvBTC+ Contracts Attacked via Deployer Private Key Leak; Deposits and Redemptions to Resume in Two Weeks

OdailyOdaily Odaily News According to monitoring by Solv Protocol, a security incident occurred on the BTC+ contract on BNB Smart Chain on July 13th. The investigation found that the attacker compromised the deployer's private key, upgraded the BSC BTC+ minting proxy contract, and minted unauthorized BTC+ tokens. The team completed its emergency response within three hours, isolating the malicious contracts and freezing, burning, or isolating all unauthorized BTC+ tokens. All underlying BTC assets remain secure. As a precautionary measure, BTC+ deposits and redemptions have been suspended and are expected to resume within two weeks. BTC+ has never had an official liquidity pool on any DEX; users should only obtain and hold BTC+ through official Solv channels.
