Hyperliquid Launches HIP-4, First Supporting Permissionless Deployment on Testnet

Odaily reports Hyperliquid stated that HIP-4 will support permissionless deployment in a future network upgrade, first on the testnet, followed by the mainnet. Similar to spot and trading token deployment, HIP-4 technology requires thorough testing in the validator deployment environment before expanding to permissionless deployment. The staking requirement for HIP-4 deployers is 500,000 HYPE. If a market is not clearly defined, settlement does not comply with template specifications, or settlement is not completed within more than a week, the staking requirement will be deducted by validator vote. As with HIP-3, the deployer's stake will be locked for 6 months. To unstake, the deployer must settle all markets. HIP-4 deployers will be able to set fee shares of up to 50% in deployed markets, with the fee configuration feature to be introduced as a subsequent function.
