Korean stock index opens with a sharp decline of over 4%

According to data from MSX.COM, South Korea's KOSPI index opened down 283.95 points, or 4.16%, at 6,536.65 points on Monday, July 20. Both Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix fell by more than 5%.
