中国 Securities Regulatory Commission and Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission Hold the 17th Joint Enforcement Cooperation Working Meeting

Odaily Planet Daily News Recently, in accordance with the regular meeting mechanism established by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) for their respective enforcement department heads, the two securities regulators convened the 17th Joint Enforcement Cooperation Working Meeting. The heads of the enforcement departments from both sides attended the meeting. During the meeting, the two parties briefed each other on the recent enforcement work status, trends in illegal and irregular activities, and case handling progress in their respective capital markets. They summarized the achievements of cross-border enforcement cooperation, exchanged updates on the handling progress of major cases of mutual concern, discussed topics such as combating emerging cross-border illegal and irregular activities and strengthening intelligence sharing, and explored avenues for further collaboration within the existing framework. These efforts aim to continuously enhance the effectiveness of cross-border enforcement coordination and effectively improve the efficiency and deterrence of regulatory enforcement.

In the next steps, the CSRC will continue to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference, the National Financial System Work Conference, and the deployment of the new "Nine National Guidelines." Adhering to the work requirements of preventing risks, strengthening regulation, and promoting high-quality development, the CSRC will work with the SFC to continuously improve the cross-border enforcement cooperation mechanism. They will crack down on various types of cross-border illegal and irregular activities with strict adherence to the law, jointly maintaining the stable and healthy development of the capital markets in both regions.
