ArkStream Founding Partner: Discussed Investment with Li Bojie, But Later Found the Contract Extremely Amateurish and Unclear on Unlock Terms
Odaily reported that Ye Su, Founding Partner of ArkStream Capital, posted on X: "Li Bojie also approached us during the fundraising stage. At the time, we thought the project had a solid background and expressed interest. Later, during the due diligence phase, we found that Li Bojie deliberately conflated interested funds with those that had already invested. The contract he sent over was extremely amateurish, and the team hadn't even figured out how to unlock the tokens. One moment they said 'we'll decide then', and the next 'we can set a term for now', so we decided to pass."
Ye Su also mentioned: "Having been in primary investments for 8 years, my deepest insight is that a founder's character has nothing to do with their talent. When founders are down and fundraising, they are very humble. But when they start to gain something, that is the true test of a person's integrity. Li Bojie is a perfect example. The fact that he dares to come out and respond shows he is brazenly cheating people out of their money."
