Apple to Skip High-End M6 Mac Chips, Focus on Developing AI-Powered M7 Series
Odaily Odaily Planet Daily News: Apple is undertaking one of the largest strategic overhauls of its Mac chip strategy in history, planning to skip directly to a new generation of chips focused on artificial intelligence for its next top-tier processors. According to sources familiar with the matter, the company is currently in the M5 series phase and plans to launch a base-level M6 processor for entry-level Macs as early as this year.
