Trump said this marks the first time in decades that Iran has shown "immense awe" toward the United States and the U.S. president.

Trump also criticized the recent push by the U.S. Senate for a vote on the War Powers Resolution, calling it a mistaken signal to Iran that "the U.S. does not support the current policy toward Iran," effectively "providing aid and comfort to the enemy."

Trump said that the actions of some senators have made his work more difficult but emphasized that he will still achieve the set goals no matter what, "because I’ve always gotten things done."
