Gold rises to $4,565, volatility declines, crude oil retreats
Odaily Odaily News According to Gate’s latest data, gold prices have risen to $4,565.28 per ounce, up 0.47% on the day. Silver prices increased to $72.165 per ounce, up 1.24% on the day.
BVIX (BTC Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 41.40, down 1.43% on the day. EVIX (ETH Volatility Index) is currently quoted at 59.04, up 0.92% on the day.
In forex markets, the USD against offshore RMB (USD/CNH) fell 0.05% on the day, with an exchange rate of 6.84272. The USD against Japanese Yen (USD/JPY) fell 0.18% on the day, with an exchange rate of 160.142.
In global stock indices, the Euro Stoxx 50 Index (EUSTX50) fell 0.75% on the day to 5,789.75 points; the UK FTSE 100 Index (UK100) rose 0.14% on the day to 10,210.64 points; the German DAX40 Index (GER40) rose 0.24% on the day to 23,894.85 points.
In commodities, WTI crude oil fell 1.29% on the day to $109.39 per barrel. Brent crude oil fell 0.78% on the day to $116.85 per barrel.
