Odaily reported that, according to the Wall Street Journal, a senior Iranian diplomat stated that Iran is open to negotiations with the United States but will not abandon its uranium enrichment activities. Iran's Ambassador to India, Mohammad Fathali, posted on social media on Saturday: "Negotiations can only yield appropriate results when our opponents recognize our right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy." The report said the US is currently seeking to have Iran suspend its uranium enrichment program for up to 20 years. (Jin Shi)
